What is Betting League?

At Betting League our passion is gambling. Our aim is to help fellow punters make money through gambling. The internet has so many tipsters that it is impossible to see the quality genuine ones. As a tipster agent we monitor and record the performance of tipsters so you can be sure the historic results are correct. As for our tipsters, we look after your customer base, advertising and admin so all you have to worry about is ensuring your tips win.

Does it cost me money to register?

No Betting League is completely free to join. Register to receive the following completely free: subscribe to one of our quality Free tipsters, view the P&L history of our tipsters, join in the discussion on the Betting League Blog pages.

How do I register?

Click the Register link in the top right hand corner of the Betting League home page and fill in the details on the registration form. You will then receive an account verification email. Click the verification link on the email. Done!

I didn't receive my account verification email?

Account

How do I update my account information (name, email address, password)?

Log into your account and click the 'My Account' link in the top right hand corner of the Betting League home page. Then click the 'Update your account' link.

Can I change my user name?

No, unfortunately it is not possible to change your user name.

I've forgotten my password, how do I reset it?

Click the 'Log in' link in the top right hand corner of the Betting League home page. Enter your user name or registered password in the 'Request Forgotten Password' section.

How do I delete my account?

Punters

What is a subscription?

Each subscription applies to an individual tipster. Subscriptions allow you to view and receive all tips from the tipster for a 30 day period. Tips are emailed directly to you as soon as the tipster submits them. You can turn this feature on/off by logging on to your account and clicking the 'Turn on'/'Turn off' link in the 'Tipsters you have access to' table.

How do I subscribe to a tipster?

Find the tipster you would like to subscribe to in either the League table or the Tipster table and click the link on the tipsters name. This will take you to the tipsters profile page. From here, click the 'subscribe' link. Then if the tipster is Free, click the subscribe button, of if there is a subscription charge, then follow the instructions within Paypal. Your subscription will start once this process has been completed.

Where can I see which tipsters I have subscribed to?

Log in to your account and click the 'My Account' button in the top right corner of the home page. Here you will find the 'Tipsters you have access to' table. You can view which tipsters you have subscribed to, the subscription expiry dates and other relevant information.

Which tipster should I choose?

This is up to you. A good tool to use is the League table. Genuine, good tipsters are those who perform month in month out. Use the sport filter to find a tipster who tips your sport of interest, and use the period filter to ensure that they have a consistent winning record.

Will my subscriptions automatically renew at the end of the subscription period?

No, we don't believe in pressuring our punters into re-subscribing. We believe that profits speak for themselves. We will forward an email notification the day before the subscription expires to notify you.

Can I subscribe for a period of greater than 30 days at a time?

I'm afraid not, subscriptions run on a 30 day period.

Tipsters

Can anyone become a tipster?

No, I am afraid we do not let anyone become a tipster. We need to know about your background and if you impress us we will offer you a trial.

Do tipsters actually get paid?

Yes, we offer our tipsters a proportion of any subscription money they generate. We usually ask our tipsters to offer their tips for free for a trial period first to build up a history on the website.

How/when do tipsters receive payment?

We make payments via paypal or bank transfer. We produce a subscriptions report at the end of each month. You will be paid for a subscription at the end of the month that it finishes in.

I have my own tipping service, can I upload my tipping history to Betting League?

No, I'm afraid not. We have to remain comletely independent so all betting history has to be verified by us.

How long before the race/event do I need to submit my tips?

Your tips will be emailed to any subscribers as soon as you submit them. As such, we ask that you add your selections at a reasonable length of time before the event starts. I think this comes down to offering your subscribers good customer service. Happy punters will re-subscribe!

How often are results updated?

We will try to do this on a daily basis.

If I make a mistake entering a tip, can I update it?

I'm afraid not. Your tips are emailed to your subscribers as soon as you submit them. Because your subscribers might already have put the bet on, we can not allow any updates. Please ensure that the information is correct before you submit each tip. Tips with missing information will be made void.

My sport isn't listed, can I still bet on it?

Yes, please email the sport to us (admin@bettingleague.co.uk) and we will add it to the list. While we update it just use the Misc option.

Which bookmakers can I take odds from?

We have a list of Betting League’s preferred bookmakers. See Here. If you would like to propose any additional bookmakers, then please forward your suggestions and we will review them. It is not guaranteed that they will be added.
